Happy Thursday ya’ll! I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend. Mine wasn’t too bad. It was spent being an introvert and sleeping. A lot. And trust me when I say this: I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Today’s post is going to be about an aspect of the Law of Attraction that many people know. It’s an imperative part of the process that helps manifestations come faster. Although when I talk to other people, they don’t know too much about it. It sounds strange but it’s something we all do. Whether we know it or not. Therefore I believe it’s important to educate you a little on what the “flow state” is. Otherwise ya’ll are going to look at me like a crazy person. Let’s say that you’ve already picked what you’d like to manifest. You’re acting “as if” and doing everything you can to gravitate towards that one thing. But you’re still not getting what you want. Besides obsessing about your desires it’s time for a person to get into the “flow state.” Before ya’ll start making fun of me for sounding hippie and weird hear me out. The Flow State is at state of detaching and being fully immersed in whatever activity a person is engaging. I like to think of this falling in the middle of someone’s boredom and anxiety. When a person is fully present in the action that is taking place. This is an activity that I do quite often and have developed quite the skill at doing. I’ve probably been doing this since I was ten. I am not joking. I’m the kind of person that gets super focused on one priority. This is my strength but also my weakness. That is why it’s important to not get obsessive about your wants. Otherwise they won’t happen. There are many ways to get into the flow state. I couldn’t name all of them if I tried. But I’ll give the main ones that have helped me and continue to help me. With this being said it’s important to find what works for you. 1. Yoga This is an obvious one huh? I do more vinyasa flows when I’m in the flow state. Like I said in a previous post (link to other post) I tend to go with however I’m feeling. I don’t take a lot of Yoga classes when I’m in school because I get busy with well…school work. Nevertheless this practice helps me breathe. I feel calmer and focused on something other than my manifestation. 2. Meditation Mediation is a great tool for any situation. It’s a daily habit of mine and it’s helped me in more ways than one. There are many online videos that help with mediation as well as apps (Head Space and Calm). It’s one of the first things I do in the morning. I do my meditations without an app in the morning in a quiet space. I find that I’m on my phone less often and in the present moment. Not wishing I had some other person’s life. Because let’s get real: That is a waste of time and vibrational energy. 3. Sleeping Yes I just wrote sleeping. The one activity that us Taurus's love so much. Nevertheless it is weird. But when I sleep I focus on my breathing. I don’t think about anything else. 4. Painting This is a new habit of mine. It’s been good for me as I’m someone who tends to work a lot. Both physically and mentally which isn’t the best combination. Sometimes I don’t even know I'm doing it. Not to worry I’ve been working on this. A lot, especially this summer. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it. Although there is a trend with all of these activities. They all bring positive vibes and focus on breathing and being present. These are essential and a reminder that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. That everything comes in its divine timing. It’s okay to have those desires but you must understand that the Universe, or whatever you believe in, is creating that desire for you. As long as you’re being consistent and learning, it will come. Manifestation takes time and patience. Remember that you are right where you need to be. The bottom result is positive vibes. Why? The Universe doesn’t speak English or any other language for that matter. It only reads vibrational energy. This is why it’s important to detach from that desire.
