Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today I am going to discuss intentional living in a nutshell. This may be a lot for some of you to handle so don't be hard on yourself if it's a lot of information to take in. I just think more people could benefit from the information I am about to give you. Some of this will include the main principles, what I do on a daily basis to stay in alignment with my desires as well as my morning routine.
Before I get started, I just want to clarify what intentional living is to me. Intentional living is what you make it out to be. It isn’t about trying to be someone else on social media. It’s more about living your own truth and walking to the rhythm of your own beat.
I’ve been like that for as long as I can remember. Even my family can tell you. They’d say, “yep. That girl does what she wants.” I used to run off whenever we were at any family outing. I’d go off exploring because I knew that there was something to be discovered. To be found.
Turns out that was me finding an intentional way of living towards my manifestations.
I’ve found that the main principles [at least the ones I've found] of intentional living are these:
Doing Your Best
Being spiritual isn’t about being a perfectionist. It doesn’t mean that you practice yoga everyday of your life. It means doing what’s best for you that day. I’ve had many incidents where I try to be “spiritually perfect.” Where I’m manic about doing meditating and practicing yoga.
And let me tell you something: That can leave you feeling burnt out and tired. You don’t feel like yourself and you aren’t being your authentic self.
Remembering Your Why
There are days where you’re not going to want to listen to your intuition. [And I’m certain the most successful people in the world can tell you the sacrifices they’ve had to be make. I have my fair share that’s for sure.] I’ve had many days where going to an audition or casting felt like a nightmare. I didn’t want to face what everyone was going to be think of me. I was tired and sore. And felt like sleeping.
This is why I keep my manifestation paper with me. It’s important to do this when you are around negative energy.
I’ve been doing this for a while now and it’s worked. So. Many. Times. It feels like I’ve cast a spell but not really. [And no I’m not Sabrina The Teenage Witch about this. I promise]
And yes those are the two main principles I’d like you to know. In my opinion, you MUST remember these things. If you don’t, your alignment will go haywire.
I’d also like to give you some advice on remaining Intentional. These are part of my daily routine and I hope they help ya’ll out as well.
Everyone mentions this but they work. The thing you must remember is to let yourself believe them. Otherwise there will be no change. Regardless, telling myself affirmations has been a huge game changer for me. It helps my subconscious rid itself of past negativity I may have over the manifestation. After I do my mediation, I say all the affirmations in what I am manifesting. I keep my eyes closed and ask source to give me guidance.
[I’m finally able to hear source so cheers to that. It took forever for that to happen]
It’s best to do this in the morning because it’s when you are most susceptible to believing anything. And when I say anything I mean anything.
Make sure to do it right when you wake up. [yup she says this stuff right when she opens her eyes It’s a habit at this point. It also makes me look like a complete weirdo].
Here are some examples of the affirmations I tell myself
I am fearless.
I am strong.
I am beautiful.
I can gorgeous.
I can do anything I set my mind to.
My heart is open to the universe.
Manifesting is easy!
Manifesting is fun!
My manifestations come to me easily.
I love to [manifestation].
I love this human existence that I have been given.
Not Getting Lost In The Hows
Listen to your intuition. If it feels like a bad situation, then it’s a chance to grow. If someone doesn’t feel good to hang out with any more, then don’t. It doesn’t say anything bad about the relationship it just means that it was time for it to end.
This is a major pitfall people have in the manifestation process. They get lost in a pointless game of 20 questions and ultimately get in their own way. It’s unconscious thinking process that’s been innate as a way of survival. This hasn’t really served us in recent times. I’m noticing it causes us to get over stressed and get stuck in the visualization portion rather than the actual action of it.
What I’ve learned to do is to shut out the noise and listen. I don’t think or complain about it. I just do it. [It’s scared some people I know. Then again I’ve been like that since I was a kid.] My reason for this is because I will get too analytical when I start to think about it. Then I get overwhelmed and we know the roller coaster of emotions that follow.
And lastly I’d like ya’ll to know to LIVE LIFE FOR YOU. And no else.
Let me repeat that: LIVE LIFE FOR YOU. Period.
It's a huge part of this human experience and intentional living. [it’s all of it.]. The point of you manifesting this awesome life is for you to live on your own terms. No one else's. I’ve seen too many people try to appease others at the expense of their own happiness. It’s stupid how often it happens.
I also did it for too long. And it was a waste of time. It's a danger zone in the creative field. It's a big reason why I am always watching myself.
Basically, know when to say freaking no and balance your life. Nothing is worse than feeling like you are catering to someone else’s needs. It’s important to have balance. Otherwise, it will feel like you're overworking. All the time.
[I probably sound like your mom but someone needs to tell you.]
That being said, I hope you are having a great Wednesday. This may have been a lot for you guys or a huge wake up call. It was a lot for me too. My biggest advice to achieving this is to stay focused. Know why and what you want [especially for those in big cities]. Listen to your intuition and trust the universe.
Only then will your life begin to make sense.
