Today I wanted to be honest and talk about something real: saying yes to the universe. Most importantly, what works when saying yes to the universe. When we say yes to the universe and get out of our own way, things start to move forward. Our vibration increases and we attract more of the things that we want. Our motivation gets stronger and the people in our lives begin to see us change in the most magnificent way. This past week I found myself trying to control when things happens. That is when I got certain casting calls, went places, etc..I kept trying to push myself to do things that were out of my control. I felt myself going crazy. Little did I know that this was all in my head. I was actually doing all of the things that I was supposed to be doing. In other words, I was being too hard on myself. This is why I want to discuss saying yes to the universe. Let me start off by saying that sometimes it’s not easy. In fact it’s hard. I’m a taurus I know. [We are one of the most stubborn signs you will ever meet. We are also deep sleep addicts but I deny that. We just love sleep.] You’ve had old fears holding you back telling you that you can’t do both or that you’re not good enough. I felt like that a majority of my life. My confidence was really bad and I felt like I couldn’t do anything. I would constantly compare myself to others. It was in a time when everyone wanted to be just like movie stars and socialites. And I’m talking everyone. That’s not to say that doesn’t happen now but it’s definitely lessened. [Why do I say this? We can manifest being famous. A manifestation that I don’t recommend unless with good intentions. Now back to the story] I had a distorted version of myself in my head. I was one of those people that would creep social media. All the time. I swear something was wrong with me. There were days where I didn't feel like I could think. To make matters worse, all I kept thinking about was the judgment of those around me. This can happen in any environment but it was in my performance life. It wasn’t until I went vegan in 2014 that I discovered myself-love. And it grew in college, which is why I am grateful for that time. It taught me a lot of lessons about myself and the world that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. About people about the world I see. About the people around me. And for the first time I felt wild and free. The kind that I would only dream up in my head. A lot of this was because I decided to give myself permission to go for my manifestations and focus on them with everything that I had. There was something in my gut that kept telling me that being a dancer and actress was what I was supposed to do. That doing all these musicals wasn’t a mistake. And there is one secret that has always remained true. And this isn’t clickbait. It’s real. And it’s this: listen to your intuition. I’m serious. It’s never wrong nor will it ever be wrong. It’s source speaking to you and telling you that everything is going to be okay. That your situation is temporary. Abraham-Hicks talks about this like your compass. It guides you through the “how,” which doesn’t exist. Once you speak your manifestation like it’s in the presence, abundance begins to flow. That sounds strange but it’s beyond true. And I’m living proof. I mean, it’s led me here. It’s led me to become and develop as a performer and start this blog, and become a part-time model. [Yes I am a part-time model. Looks like my days was watching reruns of America’s Next Top Model as a kid will was worth it. Well minus the drama. Anyone can be a model]. If you make your relationship with your Inner Being your top priority, and you deliberately choose thoughts that allow your alignment, you will consistently offer the greatest advantage to others with whom you interact. Only when you are aligned with your Source do you have anything to offer another. Before ya’ll start telling me that your intuition doesn’t exist, here is a “formula” to hear it. At first it may not speak to you but it’s feeling. [Remember that the law of attraction is all vibrations, not words.] To hear your intuition, think about your manifestation that is already happening in this present moment and breathe deeply. In that you will feel a light feeling. After that feeling you will have an impulse to do something. When you have this impulse, do it. Make it your intention. And don’t ever give up. Because the great manifestations, material or not, are always worth it. If you have limiting beliefs that come up, reverse them with a positive affirmation. Over time, you will begin to attract and believe that statement. I’m not going to lie, there are days where I’m like: “universe, where are my manifestations?” Those are also the days where I feel like a needy girlfriend. It’s stupid. These are the moments where I remind myself of patience and trusting. That’s another thing that came up this past week. I wasn’t trusting the universe. I was getting stuck is managing my life that I was forgetting the big picture. There are a lot of little things that I am doing to get me to where I am going. Regardless, my intuition has taught me to open up. To live and be free. That “distractions” and facing your fears can change your life. That most importantly, to be grateful. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. I wanted to give you a real answer to saying yes to the universe and this is it. It’s not easy at first but once you’ve worked through your limiting beliefs, you will find that anything’s possible. Namaste. P.S. I am looking to change up my website a little so be ready. It’s time for it to look like me now. Not college me.

Before you guys laugh at this blog post, hear me out. This is something I learned about six months ago and wanted to share with you guys. As an avid spiritual being, I am always learning about what I can do to connect with my higher self and understand all things spirituality. And on this journey, I have found that empaths are an essential ingredient to society. [And no, they aren’t just water signs. For instance, I am not a water sign. I’m a Taurus.] An empath is someone who feels other people’s thoughts, emotions, and energies. I consider them to be psychic (even though everyone’s psychic) because they are like sponges. They metaphorically become other people good or bad. Many people are empaths and don’t even know that they are. They know when something’s off in the room. They can also sense discord between people and themselves. Some people may call them recluse but they are not. They bring compassion, humanity, and harmony into our human experience. In my own personal experience, I couldn’t understand why I was so sensitive to people. As a major introvert, it was hard for me to be with people for a long time. Social interaction tired me out and it was a lot. Not that I wasn’t compassionate. It drained me out and made me weird. I was just different. I couldn't understand what it meant to be empathetic let along the difference between empathy and sympathy. I didn’t understand what benefits there could be to being an empathize. Therefore, I wanted to give you guys some insight into the signs of being an empath. You are Empathetic Towards Others This is kind of obvious but it’s probably the best way i know people are empaths. Empaths feel each others pain and absorb other people’s feelings. I’m not saying they’ll cry right after they hear a sad event but they will take a moment to absorb what’s going on. Sometimes they don’t show it but they will say something that relates to it. Have A Deep Connection for People Empaths feel connected to others on a soul level. It’s hard to explain but it’s like an invisible cord that gets loose and tightens over time. I didn’t start to feel this aspect until college. In college I developed a love for nature and animals. I began to understand their meaning and presence in my life. It also deepened my reasons for being vegan. I began to care about the environment and people. But honestly, it might be a problem now. It got weird at times but it’s developed my understanding of this topic. It was necessary on my spiritual journey. Need to Spend Introvert Time Yes, most empaths are introverts. I am one of them. I LOVE to be alone. I used to think it was weird but I realized that it’s okay. So don’t worry if you love to be alone and don’t feel like you belong. You will soon attract your tribe. I can’t speak for other empaths but it helps me collect myself, rest, and reflect. After a long day of dance and being with people I must remember where I stand as a person. More importantly sort out my feelings for other people. I also just like to relax a lot. It’s actually kind of stupid. Disliking A Person’s Presence Without Knowing Explanation I can contest to this. There are times where I don’t understand why I don't like someone. I’ll literally look at someone and think “I really don’t get why I don’t like you. But i want to like you.”. It’s weird. I realize that it’s because (1) we were not meant to meet and (2) their vibration is much lower than not. Reason two always seems to be the main reason. This is why I so picky about who I let into my life. If any of you experience this know that those people on their own path and they need to make the decision to raise their own vibration. Let me repeat that: THEY NEED TO MAKE THE DECISION TO RAISE THEIR OWN VIBRATION. Easily Excited About Ideas, Dreams, and Hopes of Others What can I say, we like to hear what other people have to say. We especially love it when it’s good because we feed off of it. It’s like a drug at times for me to think about this. I get very excited for other people. It's a good thing but I’m certain if i let it all out, then it would turn into a scene. I’m not joking. Then again i am daydreaming Taurus who loves to hear other people’s ideas. Times of Uneasy Sickness This happens to me when I am around negative people. I start to get sick and I don’t feel like myself. It’s not okay. My advice to cure this is to get away from those toxic people. It not only lowers your vibration but it also breeds for negative situations to happen. That hasn’t happened to me on a catastrophic level but it can be dangerous if it’s been going on for long periods of time.. Now that I’ve defines and told you more about empaths, here are some of the benefits that they bring to society. I promise that it's not just a bunch of people who cry all the time. We'd have a problem if that were the case. In fact, empaths bring more to the table that we realize. They bring so much connection and depth into this world. It's crazy. These can be expressed in various ways. Even performers are empaths. [And I'm not just talking about actors and dancers. Performers of all types.] Here are some of those things listed out. What empaths do and their purpose:
There’s so much more that I could go into but I just wanted to hit the main points. I hope you have a great day and found this informational. I think this is a topic that can be misunderstood and misread and I’d like to change that. If anything please remember that it's okay to be an empath. Know that it's NOT weird. It's just what this particular life has brought you, especially in the awakening process. Furthermore, It's okay to feel a deep empathy towards others. Just make sure you are kind to yourself in the process. And give yourself alone time. I'm not joking. Give yourself alone time. Take it from an actress and dancer who literally makes time for it. [Yes I'm around people too much.] That being said, have a great day. Stay awesome and love yourselves. Namaste. Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is on a topic that I love to talk about with people: crystals. Yes the things that we wear and make us “sparkle.” Yes I’m cheesy. Honestly it’s a problem. Sometimes I think it’s a problem but it’s one of the many things I love. There are many crystals for awakening. Learning about these has helped me immensely in my spiritual journey. The point of them is to help ground and center you during this time of opening yourself up to the universe’s gifts. It is also a time of discovery and finding who you are. I learned a lot about myself during this time. I know more about various karmic cycles and the symbolic meanings of phases ending. I’ve also deepened my relationship with nature. I’m already a nature freak but this got me in the trenches of it. [and yes, it's just like my relationship with dance and theatre: a mysterious rabbit hole that I fell in love with it. Once I got in, it was hard to come out]. But the way I found out crystals was...interesting. In fact it’s probably very weird to people. I’m not going to tell the whole story but here is some of it. True story: the way that I found out about awakening crystals was by using my intuition. Over a year ago, I walked into a crystal shop and set the intention that I’m on a mission to heal myself from past traumas and karma that were blocking me from my highest self. I was feeling this past self come over me like a dark shadow and felt that I couldn’t get out. A lot of it was confidence issues and fears about success. I was having fears of showing who I was becoming and it was beginning to affect my everyday life. I decided to let my intuition lead me throughout the store. I looked at all the crystals and bought the ones that felt right for this time period in my life. When I looked up the meanings of all the crystals I brought, they were all grounding crystals. I realized it was because I was finally waking up and realizing the truths of this world. I was coming to a deep understanding of what it meant to live and be. They were also related to my heart, third eye, and sacral chakras, which is where people run into some major issues. So without further ado here are the crystals that have helped me ground myself. These are also some of the only crystals I currently own so there’s that. Obsidian Obsidian has been used for many things however it’s grounding abilities are strong. People use it to ward against negative energy and to prevent people from doing negative behaviors. That being said, be careful. I once paired this with a rose quartz and accidentally made someone fall in love with me. Keep in mind that I’m someone who’s never been in a relationship. Guys I can’t make this stuff up. What you think about becomes real. And my intuition always leads me back to the obsidian I got the month prior. Carnelian This crystal is related to power and courage. It stimulates the root chakra, which is the base of sexual and creative desires. It is a crystal that stimulates creative inspiration. Carnelian allows us to face our fears with full force and be daring. This crystal is used my many creatives. Or at least that’s what I notice. Yes your girl is one of them. I actually carry it around with me. I know I am in need of carnelian when I feel like I can’t live up to my fullest potential. Amethyst This crystal creates a sense of calm. It known for balance and peace. It also the 3rd eye chakra and can be used as a meditative crystal for those who are impatient. Basically: use it when you are waiting for an answer. There are moments where we can feel anxious and get frustrated over temporary issues. Some other uses include spiritual protection and purification, cleansing of negative influences/attachments, and the creation of a spiritual light. To give you a full picture, I use this crystal everyday. It calms and brings me a sense of peace. I can get impatient with certain aspects of my life, which leads to more negative energies. Putting this crystal on my Third eye chakra helps eliminate all of that. Citrine Citrine is a popular one. It might be the biggest one I hear from people beside quartz. In other words, it’s one of the “cool kids.” People use this gemstone for abundance, energy, prosperity, luck and wealth. The main one I hear about is material wealth and energy. Basically: money honey. But not just money physically but spiritually. Remember that you must feel the prosperity before it physicalizes. Otherwise you won’t get the full manifestation. Quartz (Clear) This is also called the “perfect jewel” and that it is the supreme of mother earth. It represents the relationship between the physical and spiritual world. It amplifies the power of the next crystal and enhances intuition. It also allows for clarification and new beginnings. I use this crystal when I don’t feel connected to the people around me or feel like I’m growing out of a phase. It brings attention to the situation I am facing what things that I need to adjust. Smokey Quartz It is a crystal that rids of negativity and is great for any mental health distress. I am someone who has bouts of depression and anxiety. [yes I’m not afraid to say it.] Some days are good and other days are...worse than the others. However I do what is necessary and using smokey quartz really helps. I focus and become productive on manifesting my desires and “sticking with my gut.” It also clears the air on some major questions and fears I have. yes this is a necklace but that is not the point. (If you would like to get one here is the link. The jewelry company is called Junon Jewelry. It’s all ethically and authentically made in La Jolla, CA. If you do get one, make sure to go to the sales section, where they have some great offers). Rose Quartz This one is special for many reasons. It is connected to the heart chakra and represents love. Not just romantic love, but love towards other people. This crystal reminds us that love is universal and is one of the highest frequencies of the universe. I wear this crystal every day. I am someone who can lose sight of what it means to love other people. I get caught up in doing things and find myself frustrated. When I focus on what is around my neck, I remember why I am doing what I’m doing. I remember that I blog and perform because I love it more than anything else in the world. Overall these stones have helped me through life. They’ve been with me since college and will stay with me forever. And it’s true, I’ve manifested some crazy shit with these stones. It’s stupid. Watch one day there will be a book on Geneva and her crystal adventures. For the time being, those stories are being manifested and we shall the how the universe reveals them to me. I hope ya’ll enjoyed this blog post. But you probably also learned that Geneva manifests with them to live out her life purpose. [and there’s a nice thesis statement to go along with it]. I put some great links to help find out some of the crystals meanings so make sure to look at those! I hope it helps you guys on your own spiritual journeys towards well being. Namaste and have a great day. Links: https://crystalbenefits.com/ https://crystalearthspirit.com/pages/crystal-meanings https://www.buildingbeautifulsouls.com/symbols-meanings/healing-crystals-gemstones/ Happy Wednesday ya’ll! Today’s post is all about the key to achieving balance. I’m not going to lie, when I thought of this idea I was like “Geneva who are you to talk about balance? You’re 22 and just graduated from college.” I see your point. I really do but I learned a few things about this topic in college. I saw a lot of people in both my personal and college life struggle with this and I don’t want that to happen to ya’ll. Over the years I’ve learned to have a growth mindset and some major focus. Basically: I know what I am manifesting. Period. I know that it requires time, dedication, and growth. Part of it is this blog but another part of it is creative. I love being creative and it’s always felt right to it. In other words, I was that kid listening and watching actor interviews, musicals, and dramas like a nut case. I would listen to music and dance like no one’s business [that’s still the case except we’re now adding my audio book addiction and less movie watching. Yes I don’t watch that many movies anymore]. Basically: I was setting myself up to be creative. I’m still not sure why the universe was giving me those messages. Although I have a feeling that it’s going to be revealed to me soon. Very very soon. Any who I figured I could give ya’ll some advice on the keys to achieving balance. These are some things that I’ve learned along the way and just found helpful. 1. Time-Management and Flexibility These two could be their own post but I wanted to put these here for our own sakes. These two aspects are also the reason certain manifestations are happening for me right now. When we manage these two skills, we become invisible. Time-management is a skill that I am learning as I am someone who caught up doing certain tasks. And I’m not just not talking about caught up, I mean way too involved with it. It wasn’t until very recently that I started to use time-management. It’s a little militant but I keep hearing my spirit guides tell me that it will be like this for a while. And to be honest that’s okay. It’s helped me stay on track and not question my actions. I think the reason people have bad time management is because of excuses and insecurities. They feel like they need to justify their aspirations and dreams. I found myself doing this and realized how stupid it was. The reality is that you don’t need to justify yourself to anyone. Let me repeat that: you don’t need to justify yourself to anyone. Remember that you are going after them and learning so much. About yourself and the world. In my own manifestation journey, I am finding a new sense of comfort and being in who I am becoming. Therefore I’ve come to see time as a tool. So use it wisely. At the same time, I think it’s okay to have some flexibility. It’s okay if things don’t go to plan. When we become militant about our time, we lose our flexibility muscle. And we don’t use the universe’s power to our advantage. It actually starts to work against us. This is the other reason why I didn’t time-manage for a long time. It was because I got too militant. It made me stagnant and I felt like I couldn’t move. 2. Being Kind to Yourself Yes I said it and I’ll say it again. Be kind to yourself. From the way you talk to yourself to the way you treat yourself. Not only spiritually but health wise as well. [And yes even this healthy vegan can become the junkiest of vegans. Then again, we vegans have our junkie phases]. Make sure you get enough sleep and are surrounding yourself with the people and places that you want to be surrounded by. 3. Keep and Build Your Relationships Work on your relationships with your loved ones or developing a new friendship. It could also be networking related. Remember that it’s only hard if you make it hard, so go about it with optimism and kindness. This doesn’t even have to apply to family. It can be anyone you consider family. Our family relationships can dampen when we start to get into “work mode” too much. 4. Keep a Solid Morning Routine When I tell you this has helped me believe it. Having a solid morning routine has gotten me through some pretty rough stages. A morning routine that I recommend is waking up, stretching, doing mediation, affirmations, yoga, and eating a healthy plant based breakfast. [Yes I’m vegan but I can be pretty junky at times. Then again this is about balance so…]. Listen to your body with the breakfast. This varies for many people but make sure it’s nutritious. I’m not a medical physician so I’m not going to discuss this too much. The point of all of this is to ensure that our bodies, souls, and spirits are nourished. That being said, I don’t do everything in the morning routine I stated. Meditation always happens. If it doesn’t, then we have a problem. 5. Create Moments to Collect Yourself Take moments to remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing. Think of this as a transition. Breathe and know that you are doing your best. And most importantly, know that what is coming is. Congratulate yourself for accomplishing a task or a move that you didn’t think you’d get. These are times that I thank the universe for granting me all of my desires. I’m not religious by any means but I talk to divine source. I also thank my spirit guides and angels. For giving me this beautiful life. Some days are harder than others but I know it’s for my highest good. That being said, I hope ya’ll enjoyed it. These are some key aspects that have helped me establish a more balanced relationship with myself and my manifestations. More importantly, trusting in divine timing. And with this week being the first week of the July Mercury Retrograde, I felt like it was time to help ya’ll establish ways to cope. [But make sure we grow during this time. That’s the point of retrogrades!] Have a great day. Namaste. Developing Your Inner Light Happy Wednesday everyone! Today’s blog post is all about developing your inner light. This is an important part of the law of attraction because it’s what manifestation is about. It’s about keeping a positive frequency throughout the experiences the universe gives to us. That being said, it took me a while to develop my inner light because I had a ton of emotional baggage that I hadn’t filtered out. [I can already hear you guys: "SAME Geneva. SAME." Then again, this is a majority of the population. To give you a picture, it took me a good year and a half to clear it all out. It was tough but I knew I had to do it. I knew that if I kept it, I would keep telling myself the same sad story over and over again. Therefore, I wanted to give you guys some pieces of advice that have really helped me maintain an inner light.
It’s that simple kids. Do the things you like to do. It might even be something you love. And please make it something you love. Otherwise, it won't be fun and manifesting is fun. But the story is different when you are a creative. As a creative I’ve learned to have a balance of it as I can get tired of doing dance and theatre. Yes it happens. This is when I turn to other things like going to free events, trying new things, and spending time with friends. Basically anything that doesn't have to do with what I do. Doing this informs myself of how I can improve my craft but also how I think about what I do. Also, it’s nice to get out. But don’t get me wrong, it's hard sometimes. You feel stuck and you don't know what to do. It’s not easy sometimes because emotions are a lot. And even worse, they feel like bricks if you let build over a long period of time. I get pretty emotional during full moons so I understand. That’s when I know I need to make sure emotions are released. Then I learn and move on. Right after is a time to get up and do something that makes you intuitively feel good. And who cares if others find it weird. You’re doing you and that’s all that matters. Those moments are signs from the universe that your manifestations are coming. It’s also the time for creative inspiration. 2. Distance Yourself From Negative People/Situations I’m being serious when I say this. Sometimes we don’t realize that an aspect of our lives is bad for us. At least until our intuition tells us. That’s when we know it’s time to leave. This is honestly how I know I need to not talk to certain people. They will leave me feeling bad and give my subconscious bad feelings. The reason I say this is because our subconscious remembers more than our conscious. This goes from the images we see to the songs we hear. Therefore what we surround ourselves with, we will become. So make sure it's in alignment with who you are becoming. Also if you are in a negative situation, it’s best to do keep doing the things you love. Don’t focus on that other person because it’s their problem. Take it from a life path 3, who are notorious for being “people pleasers.” I spent a majority of my life trying to please people. It’s not worth your time and energy trying to change them, especially if they don’t want to be changed.Take the time to focus on the positive and what the situation is teaching you on your spiritual path. 3. Speak Kind Words to Yourself This kind of goes with the second one, please speak be nice. Know that you’re not the only one in these emotions and bettering themselves. And honestly, some people don’t like to see others succeed. Even if things don’t go to plan, don’t be hard on yourself. Instead, just move on and let it be. 4. Listen to Your Angels and Spirit Guides Listen to what your angels and spirit guides are telling you. The most common way I hear my spirit guides and angels is through angel numbers. I’ll let you know when I hear their voices. They let me know when I’m doing too much and need to slow down. Why? I’m someone who gets busy and it can be overwhelming to some. Basically I’m best friends with my Angels and Spirit Guides. My biggest advice in calling them is to talk to them. You might look strange but thank them every morning and night. Tell them how you feel and pose a question to them. To some this is crazy but I really do talk to my spirit guides even if I do something they don’t like. They act as second parentsl. 4. Lessen SM (Social Media) Use I’ve mentioned this before but don’t be on SM all the time. It’s not good for our subconscious. That being said, if you are surrounding yourself with positive messages, then that’s okay. The point is you want to surround yourself with what you are manifesting and all the positive aspects of that manifestation. Something I do on a daily basis is download certain audio books and playlists that motivate me. In other words, I turn my iPhone into an iPod because let’s be honest...I live a monk-ish life. I also not go on my phone unless it’s with an actual purpose. In other words, it’s easy to get lost on the internet when you don’t have an intention behind it. I did that for many years and it took me awhile to rewrite my subconscious and certain traumas. When you do all of these things, magic happens. You believe in yourself. The things that no longer serve you will drift and you will feel invisible. Not as a means of being “better” than anyone else but knowing that your spiritual path is being opened for you. And that is a beautiful thing.. But the biggest reward is you will love yourself. And when you love yourself, you remember who you are. On that note, I hope you have a wonderful day. Love yourselves and stay awesome. Namaste.
